What is MathOwl?
MathOwl for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch is for your children to practice basic math problems. It contains a set of math workbooks for different grade levels, currently Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Each workbook contains math problems for that grade level. Each math problem is presented on a single page which can be solved step-by-step. There are hundreds and hundreds of addition and subtraction problems to solve in different workbook lessons. Single and multi-digit numbers, with and without regrouping, borrow or carry.
MathOwl teaches kids how to do math interactively as they learn how to carry and borrow while performing addition and subtraction. It isn't the typical multiple choice or flash card style of math app. It is more hands on than that. Workbooks can be practiced over and over again and keeps track of the progress. MathOwl has different expressions based on the kids' answers and is a fun character.
There is also a ‘homework helper’ where kids can enter their own problems and solve them, step-by-step.

There are NO ads or in-app purchases.
WHAT ARE THE GRADE LEVELS?
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades are included.
WHAT IS THE HOMEWORK HELPER?
Each workbook contains problems of a certain type; Adding, Subtracting, Finding an operand to get the given answer etc... With the homework helper you can enter math problems using any numbers you want. It doesn't do the math for kids, but it does help by checking it and teaching at the same time. It makes homework time more fun and less stressful.
DOES THE MATHOWL APP COLLECT ANY OF MY CHILD'S PERSONAL DATA?
No. MathOwl doesn’t collect any personal data from anyone using it.

No. There is no way to enter any kind of personal information.

WHAT DEVICES WILL IT RUN ON?
The MathOwl app requires iOS 6.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It is optimized for iPhone 5. This means it will run on an iPad double size. Retina graphics are used on retina displays and normal graphics are used on non-retina displays.
